A public forum will be held on the proposed relocation of Barkingside Post Office on Thursday (10) to inform customers of the details of the proposed move.
Customers will be informed of the proposal to move Barkingside Post Office from its current location to 115-125 High Street, Barkingside - about 85 metres from its site at 128 High Street, Barkingside.
Interested parties have been invited to give their views on the move during a six-week public consultation which stared on June 11.
The proposed new premises, which are currently trading as The Co-operative store, would undergo a complete refurbishment to incorporate Barkingside Post Office and the new operator’s existing business, Quidsaver, should the move go ahead.
The customer forum will be held in the Aldborough Room at Fullwell Cross Library, 140 High Street, Barkingside, running from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday July 10.
