A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in Ilford.

Police were called to a shop on Green Lane on Monday, September 24, to reports of criminal damage and threats made to staff.

A 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested and charged on the same day.

He will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 15
