Police are appealing after a man was punched and cut in a broad daylight attack in North Road, Seven Kings.

Today officers released an e-fit image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident - which happened at around 6.45pm on June 15.

A 24-year-old was approached by a man asking for money as he walked along the quiet residential street off the High Road.

When he told the man he didn’t have any, another man stalking behind the victim punched him in the back of the neck.

A fight ensued, and the victim was punched repeatedly as he fought off his attackers, police said.

He also received cuts from what police described as “a bladed article”.

The two men were last seen making off from the scene in a vehicle towards an unknown direction, police said.

Scotland Yard described the men as being Asian in appearance and in the mid-30s.

One, with short black hair a beard, was wearing blue denim jeans and a grey jumper.

The other man, who also had short black hair, was wearing grey bottoms and a blue Italy football shirt with S.Azad printed on the back.
