Police cordon off Seven Kings road after man stabbed in the hand

Police officers have established a cordon in a residential road in Seven Kings this afternoon (Friday, August 24) after a man was stabbed in the hand in the street.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed officers were called to Claremont Gardens at 2.30pm to reports that a man had been stabbed.

They found one man there with stab wounds to his hand - these injuries are not life threatening.

The London Ambulance Service was also called to the scene and confirmed it sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and a motorcycle responder.

The victim was taken to hospital after receiving immediate first aid in the street.

There have been no arrests.
