A police cordon was in place last night


A police cordon is in place this morning after a man, reported to be in his late 20s, was stabbed last night.

Ambulance crews were called to Chadwick Road, Ilford just before 10.30pm.

They treated a man for stab wounds before taking him to hospital as a priority.

An ambulance, response car and the London Air Ambulance crew all attended the scene.

Buses routes 25, 86, 128, 145 and 366 were diverted but are now running normally.

Police have yet to comment.
