A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital this morning after suffering injuries to his abdomen.
Police were called to Berkeley Avenue, Clayhall at about 8am this morning and are trying to establish how he became injured.
The incident is being treated as non-suspicious.
He was taken as a priority to the major trauma unit at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel.
London Ambulance Service confirmed it sent two ambulances to the scene.
