Police appeal for two men posing as car washers after attempted burglary in Goodmayes

Two males described as Eastern European are wanted by police after an attempted burglary in Barley Lane, Goodmayes.

They visited a property at around 1.30pm on Thursday, July 18 and asked a male occupant if he would like his car washed.

When the answer was no, they said that his wife had agreed.

But when she came to the door she said she had never spoken to them.

Both males then walked off.

One is said to be between 19 and 22 years old, wearing a grey suit and the second 28 to 30 years old, wearing a white shirt and grey trousers.
