Officers from Redbridge Police have released an image of a missing 16-year-old girl they are trying to trace after she left her care home.

Sayeeda Begum Chowdhury, 16, has not been seen since July 2 when she left a care home in Ipswich.

She has connections with Redbridge borough, but has been seen recently in the Islington area.

Sayeeda was previously believed to be in the company of another girl, but is now thought to be on her own.

She has also stopped contacting her social worker and this has increased concern for her welfare.

Sayeeda is described as 5ft 2ins and of slim build.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police non-emergency line 101 or Missing People on 116 000.
