Police appeal for information about Ilford assault

Police are appealing for anyone who has information regarding an assault to come forward.

At around 2am on Sunday October 20, a 21-year-old male was approached by three men as he walked alone along High Road, Ilford, near the junction with Hainault Street.

One suspect pushed the victim, who fell to the ground, before all three assaulted him.

Police would like to speak to two witnesses who assisted the victim after the suspects left the scene in an unknown direction.

They are looking for three men in connection with the assault. One is described as a white Lithuanian male, 5ft 9in tall, in his mid twenties.

Two further suspects are described as taller white males at 6ft 2in tall and also in their mid twenties.

Anyone with information or anyone who stopped to help the victim is asked to contact DC Yasmin Hussain at Ilford CID on 101 quoting CRIS 4419883/13.
