Petts Wood restaurant attack: Police appeal after man, 22, knocked unconscious

Police are appealing to trace two men wanted in connection with an incident in which a 22-year-old man knocked unconscious outside a Bromley restaurant.
Officers have today (Friday, September 14) released CCTV images of two men wanted for questioning.
The victim had been had been drinking with friends in the Sovereign of the Seas pub in Queensway, Petts Wood, at around 12.30am on Saturday, July 7.
They went outside to get some food from a restaurant nearby when two men approached a woman who was among the groups of friends and began talking to her.
The victim approached the men and asked them to leave her alone when one of them reportedly punched him in the face.
The man fell to the ground unconscious and both suspects made off.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to cuts and bruises had to have metal plates inserted into his jaw.
Officers are releasing CCTV images of two men who they would like to speak in connection with the incident.
Det Con Dean Roberts, of Bromley CID, is leading the investigation.
He said: “This was a nasty and unnecessary assault on a man who was simply trying to take care of a friend.
“Anyone who recognises these men is asked to contact us as soon as possible.”
