The performers from the Academy of Performing Arts School dazzled the audience in their annual summer show at the Kenneth More Theatre, in Oakfield Road, Ilford, last Friday.

The show, which featured performers between five and 18-years-old, featured songs from Les Misérables, Oliver and musical Fun House.

Over a busy week, the youngsters interviewed for roles on Monday and delivered a performance to their family and friends by Friday evening.

Principal Claire Harvey said the students had a really fun week.

She said: “We all had a fantastic time.

“We love holding the show in the Kenneth More Theatre; it’s our second time holding the show there.

“We are aware that the theatre is losing its funding which is such a shame.

“Everyone absolutely love performing there, it’s such a great space.”
