A pensioner has been taken to hospital as a priority after being involved in a collision with an ambulance.
The woman, a pedestrian, was struck at 2.45pm in High Road, Ilford.
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We sent two ambulance crews, two single responders in cars and a duty officer to the scene.
“A 74-year-old woman, who was conscious, was treated for a leg injury and taken as a priority to Queen’s Hospital, Romford.
“A single responder reached the patient from the original 999 call within six minutes.”
