A pedestrian involved in a collision with a car is understood to be undergoing treatment at the roadside one hour after the accident.
The London Ambulance Service was called at 4.35pm to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car in High Street, Barkingside.
Two ambulances and a single responder in a car were sent to the scene.
They are still at the scene more than one hour later, while part of the road is understood to be closed to traffic.
