A celebrity dinner and ball raised £25,000 for Redbridge children’s charity Hopes and Dreams, thanks to help from patrons including Mitch Winehouse, who sang on the night.
Hopes and Dreams, in Somersby Gardens, aims to fulfil the ambitions of children suffering from life-threatening and limiting illnesses.
The event on Saturday was held at The Prince Regent, Manor Road, Woodford Bridge. Barclays donated about £10,000. Patron Vicki Michelle, former star of TV show ‘Allo ‘Allo, also attended.
