Children were inspired to new heights after an Olympic diver dropped in to give tips and tricks on reaching their potential.
Students at Avon House Preparatory School, High Road, Woodford Green, were visited by Olympian Peter Waterfield.
He came fourth with Tom Daley in the 10m synchronised diving event at the London 2012 Games.
He showed children his various medals and helped them do a sponsored workout which raised more than £1,300 for the school and Olympic charities.
Headteacher Amanda Campbell said: “After his demonstration it was time for the children to show just how fit they are and undertake a sponsored challenge.”
