A charity has put on a play to highlight the issues caused by dementia.

The play, called Dementia’s Journey, was performed at Barkingside Methodist Church, in Fremantle Road, Barkingside, last week, but will now tour the country.

Representatives of Ekta Project, based in Newham, hope awareness of the disease will help to break down social barriers that prevent the community from addressing the early onset of dementia in south Asian families.
