A sponsored walk raising money for charity will take in the Islamic buildings of note around the borough today.
The walk, held by Muslim 7th Goodmayes Scout Group, will start at the Gardens of Peace Muslim Cemetery, Elmbridge Road, Hainault.
About 60 people are due to snake their way past South Woodford Mosque and the Ilford Islamic Centre.
When they group reach Ilford they are set to be joined by Mayor of Redbridge Cllr Muhammed Javed who will give out awards to the children.
After walking 12 miles the procession will end up at the Al Madina Mosque, Ilford Lane.
