Father Christmas and his wife paid a visit to children in Redbridge at a special library event.
The festive visit, at The Keith Axon Centre, Grove Road, Chadwell Heath, also included a children’s entertainer to keep youngsters amused throughout the day.
Children centre co-ordinator Rabeya Alam said: “It went extremely well with a story session, singing, pictures and letters to Santa.”
The organiser, librarian Frances Walker, dressed up to play the special roles with her husband, Paul.
The centre became a joint library and children’s centre earlier this year to help improve the facilities on offer for residents.
