Motorcyclist injured in M11 smash

A MOTORCYCLIST was rushed to hospital after a collision with a car on the M11 this morning.

The smash happened between junction four, the A406 at Woodford and junction five, the A1168 at Loughton.

Two lanes were closed following the crash and queues of up to two hours were reported.

No further details have been released about the condition of the rider, who was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone.

The road re-opened at around 10.15am
