A car and a motorcyclist have collided on the A12 in Wanstead, causing congestion back to Redbridge.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the eastbound carriageway, near the A406 roundabout, at 4.24pm.

A police spokesman said the biker had suffered “non life threatening injuries”.

One of the lanes eastbound had earlier been shut and there is still traffic back to Bow.
