The faces of suspected offenders wanted by Redbridge police will be displayed on a digital screen and driven around the borough tomorrow.

A large mobile digital screen will be displaying the images of the borough’s wanted and unidentified offenders at busy locations such as Ilford town centre.

DI Mason Mills said: “The mobile digital screens will be hitting the borough’s streets with the aim of highlighting those offenders wanted by us.

“We urge the public to have a look at the screen when they pass by and, if you recognise any of the faces, contact us.

“This is a tremendous platform, demonstrating that there is really no hiding place for those who commit crime.

“It presents us with another avenue by which we can call on the assistance of the public to help us make sure criminals do not evade capture.”
