Missing Ilford man believed to have been assaulted following altercation

Police are looking for a missing man from Ilford who is believed to have been injured in an assault during the early hours of Sunday morning.

41-year-old Sarbjit Singh, who also goes by the names of Gurbinder or Tony, was last seen at a residential address in North Circular Road, Brent, where it is thought that he was injured, possibly from a stab wound, during an altercation at about 3.50am.

Sarbjit, of Belmont Road, Ilford, is described as Asian, 5ft 8ins tall with a medium build and short brown hair.

Officers from Brent borough are appealing to anyone who may know Sarbjit’s whereabouts to contact them by calling 101 or via twitter @MetCC.
