A Barkingside opticians will mark its merger with national chain Boots by offering live music, magicians and even Mickey Mouse to customers on January 19.
The Dolland & Aitchison in High Street began trading as Boots in November after more than 15 years of business.
A carnival day will be held at the store from 11am including a grand raffle draw, a lucky dip and an appearance from everyone’s favourite Disney mouse.
Shoppers can also buy a discounted pair of frames for £50 when they spend £129 or more.
