A respite holiday charity raised £3,500 through an annual hog roast event.
More than 150 guests enjoyed a flame grilled pig, to generate money for Revitalise, High Road, Chigwell.
As well as lunch, participants were treated to a variety of entertainment and activities including live music from ‘Second Nature’, a selection of stalls selling fresh produce and handmade crafts, and games including a coconut shy and ‘guess the weight of the Marrow’.
“We were able to hold our wonderfully special hog roast and it is amazing to think that the event is now in its twelfth year and so many people still turn out to support us,” said Friend of Revitalise Jubilee Lodge, Ros Dover.
“Thank you to everyone who played their part in making the day so memorable.”
The annual fundraising Hog Roast, has raised more than £40,000 for the charity which provides respite holidays for disabled people and carers.
