Police are appealing to find a man in connection with the sexual assault of three women at Snaresbrook and Gants Hill Tube stations on the same day.

The suspect grabbed a woman from behind as she walked through the ticket barriers at Gants Hill station, in Cranbrook Road, at 7.35am on October 4 last year.

At 9.35am on the same day, he then sexually assaulted a woman as she walked over the bridge at Snaresbrook Station, in Station Approach.

Less than three hours later, at 12.15pm, the man sexually assaulted a third woman on the same overpass.

Officers have released an image of the man they would like to speak with, believing he may have information which could help the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the British Transport Police by calling 0800 40 50 40 or texting 61016 with reference 424 of 16 April
