Police are appealing for information after a 30-year-old man was injured.

A man has been “slashed” in South Woodford.

Police were called to George Lane on Sunday, October 14, to reports of a man injured.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a 30-year-old man with “slash injuries”.

He was taken to an east London hospital for treatment.

A Met Police spokesman said: “His injuries are not life-threatening.

“There have been no arrests at this stage and inquiries continue.”

East Area Command Unit CID are leading the investigation.
