A man was hospitalised earlier today after a plaster board ceiling collapsed on top of him.
Air ambulance and fire crews attended the scene at around 12.30pm, in Hampton Road, Ilford, when a man in his 20s was treated for head injuries.
He was taken in an ambulance to the Royal London Hospital, in Whitechapel, and accompanied by a doctor from the air crew.
It is believed he was conscious throughout.
