Firefighters cut a man free from his car after a crash at Redbridge Roundabout.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance, following the collision between the car and a van at around 4.30pm today.
It is not thought he was seriously hurt.
A spokesman from East Ham fire station said they cut the roof off the car in case the man had a neck or back injury.
An air ambulance attended but was not needed.
Two men in the van were not injured in the Eastern Avenue accident, which caused traffic delays.
