Man charged with attempted murder over Loxford Lane shooting

A man appeared in court today charged with attempted murder and possession of a shotgun in relation to a shooting that occurred in Loxford Lane.

Joshan Addison, 18, of Thornton Avenue, Ilford, was arrested at home yesterday in relation to the shocking incident which happened on Monday, August 8.

An 11-year-old boy was hit by a stray gunshot pellet and a 22-year-old man shot in the back.

Mr Addison appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court, Cranbrook Road.

He will next appear at the Old Bailey on October 21.
