A 36-year-old man from south London has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and engaging in sexual activity without consent.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: “The arrest is in connection to an appeal BTP issued recently where two men were sexually assaulted on Central Line trains.

“He has been taken to police custody whilst enquiries continue.”

In 2015, the British Transport Police launched their ‘Report it to stop it’ campaign.

To report unwanted sexual behaviour on public transport, text 61016 or call police on 101.
