A 30-year-old man has been arrested after trying to pick up a prostitute in Ilford Lane.
He is also accused of attacking a 24-year-old woman in the road, which is at the centre of Ilford’s red light district.
The alleged assault occurred on February 18 at about 1.30am.
The man is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on charges of soliciting for the purpose of prostitution and assault on March 6.
