An M&S Simply Food will open in Wanstead High Street on Tuesday, October 10, welcoming customers with a glass of fizz.

The store will open its doors at 10am, with store manager Deborah Cunningham and her 42-strong team offering sweet treats and samples from M&S’s innovative range of food.

The shop, opposite Wanstead Tube station, is ideally located for commuters seeking inspiration for their evening meal. It will also have an in-store bakery with a Coffee to Go service offering Fairtrade tea and coffee to take away.

Deborah said: “We are really excited to become part of the community here in Wanstead and look forward to welcoming our new customers on October 10 as we unveil the new store. We’ll have some fantastic new products from the autumn range, ideal for when those chillier nights start to draw in, as well as providing busy commuters and professionals with convenient Food on the Move options throughout the day – from takeaway coffees to healthy lunches and snacks.”

For those looking to add a real flavour of autumn to their shopping basket, customers can choose from a show-stopping collection of warming prepared meals, including new additions to M&S’s popular Taste range; fresh meats, perfect for roasting and stewing – including new veal and venison cuts – and indulgent pizzas, for weekend dining with family and friends.

It will be open 7am-10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am-7pm on Sundays.
