Two members of staff from an Ilford charity are gearing up to run the London marathon.
Ramesh Pala, 52, and Kathy Stapleton, 49, both work for social care charity Vibrance. Ramesh is a day services activity worker and Kathy is a HR manager.
Kathy said: “I’ve joked with Ramesh that he will probably have his feet up with a cup of tea by the time I cross the finish line”.
Ramesh said: “I have family looking forward to the event and a sister coming down from Leicester with nephews to cheer me on.”
