LOL: Laughter yoga helps raise money for cancer charity in Ilford

“They were very very happy” was a 73-year-old doctor’s conclusion after a laughter yoga session for charity.
Sudarshan Kapur held the session at a Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning which raised £500 for the charity.
About 70 people attended the coffee morning which also feature Indian snacks and dancing on Thursday.
Mrs Kapur said: “We started with deep breathing exercises followed by singing, dancing and a short speech on the charity.”
The fundraiser was part of numerous coffee mornings held nationally.
She said: “People said we should do it more often. It was very enjoyable. They were very very happy.”
The Pujabi Centre in Ley Street, Ilford has been doing annual coffee mornings since 2008.
Mrs Kapur said: “When I practiced as a GP my patients used to use the nurses, I was impressed and they have improved so much – I’m doing it for them.”
