The Liberal Democrats have held onto the Roding ward, but did not make a clean sweep.
Ian Bond, the leader of the party, and Gwyneth Deakins, managed to retain their seats with 1,181 and 1,162 votes respectively.
Conservative Sarah Blaber was also elected with 1,053 votes.
