An investigation focusing on parking enforcement in Redbridge is due to be broadcast this evening.
The BBC’s Inside Out programme will show the stories of residents who have allegedly fallen victim to unclear parking signs, along with interviews with civil enforcement officers (CEOs), and secret footage of enforcement bosses allegedly setting targets for fines.
Redbridge Council told the programme its goal was not to “arbitrarily increase the number of penalty charge notices issued”.
Parking firm APCOA says it has launched an investigation into the issue.
