More than 400 residents have joined the conversation and suggested where they think the council should make savings over the next three years.

Enhancing the environment and economic growth are the areas in which respondents said they wanted to see spending reduced, according to results from the Redbridge Conversation 2013, with 87 per cent voting for a reduction.

The results also revealed 46 per cent wanted to see a rise in pay and display charges, but alcohol and late-night refreshment licensing fees was the most favoured option for income increases.
