The next mayor of Redbridge has been selected.
Cllr Barbara White was chosen as the successor to sitting mayor Cllr Ashley Kissin at a full council meeting last Thursday.
Cllr White (Lab, Goodmayes) was the sole nominee for the honour, and will begin her new role in May.
