A special festive pamper day, which included massages and manicures, raised hundreds of pounds for patient care.
The King George and Queen’s hospitals charity raised 520 by holding a Christmas pamper and shopping day at Queen’s in Romford.
The money will go towards improving care and the environment for patients on Queen’s geriatric ward, Sky A.
Throughout the day, a mixture of staff, visitors and patients were given the opportunity to receive beauty treatments such as a non-invasive facelift, threading, mini-manicure and pedicures, as well as complementary therapies including reflexology and Indian head massage.
Visitors were also able to get a head start with their Christmas shopping as there were a variety of stalls.
