Ilford town centre to host first Christmas Festival

Ilford’s first ever Christmas Festival will take place on Tuesday.
The High Road will be filled with stalls, dancers and performers for the inaugural event, which is running from noon until 6pm.
Activities will include face-painting and bollywood dancing.
Organiser Wilson Chowdhry said churches from the area had come together to organise the event, incluidng the Gateway Church in Gants Hill, the Ilford Tamil Church and the Kingdom Ministries.
He said the first half of the day would secular, following by carol singing and worship services.
