A magnificent barbecue, tantalising stalls and some rather lively entertainment resulted in more than £1,000 being raised for a care home.
More than 200 people attended the fete in aid of the Vi & John Rubens care home and dug dip to help raise £1,200.
The money will go towards the home in Clarence Avenue, Gants Hill.
Daniel Brown, director of fundraising at Jewish Care, said: “We are extremely grateful to them for their ongoing support and for putting on another successful fete.
