The cause of death of a man assaulted in his office in Hainault on Wednesday was a severe head injury, a post mortem has discovered.
Adeel Salaam, 28 was assaulted in his place of work in Fencepiece Road. He died on Friday at about 5pm in the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel.
Mr Salaam, of Caulfield Road, East Ham was single and did not have any children. Next of kin have been informed.
An inquest was opened and adjourned at Walthamstow Coroner’s Court today.
Vaseel Ullah, 20 of New Road, Epping Forest appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with attempted murder. Ullah appeared in court before Mr Salaam had died. Ullah did not apply for bail and will appear at the Old Bailey on December 7.
