The body of a 45-year-old man has been found on an Ilford pavement.
He was discovered in High Road, close to the disused swimming pool, at 11.20am on Tuesday.
Police have said they will not comment on whether the death is suspicious until next of kin have been told.
Some people working in the area have said they believe the man may have been a rough sleeper.
