A Barkingside school attended an award ceremony on Thursday after being shortlisted for a national Education Business Award.
King Solomon High School, Forest Road, was selected for its outstanding provision in inclusion work across its year groups.
In particular, they were recognised for their work with pastoral leaders, counsellors, teachers and outside agencies ensuringthe emotional and behavioural needs of students are met.
Headteacher Spencer Lewis said: “To be shortlisted from hundreds of applications is a real honour and is a testament to the intelligent, rigorous work carried out by the school’s assistant head for inclusion, Mr Soibelmann.”
