Chanukah will be celebrated with a special concert organised by The Chabad NE London and Essex in Gants Hill as an innovative way to celebrate the festive season safely.
The concert, which will be held at The Drive-in Enfield on Thursday, December 17, will be the culmination of a week-long menorah-lighting at seven different locations which will be live-streamed.
Around 1,000 people are expected to attend the concert - all in their cars for social distancing. They will be entertained by bands, magicians and jugglers.
Attendees will also have goodie bags, doughnuts (a Chanukah specialty) and other food delivered to their cars.
Rabbi Aryeh Sufrin MBE said: "We are so very pleased to be able to have this Chanukah celebration, especially during this period of uncertainty."
