BetVictor preview this weekend’s London derby in League Two

Dagenham & Redbridge entertain Leyton Orient on Saturday in their first home game of the season and BetVictor have a range of odds to entice punters.

The hosts are yet to win this season, losing away to Portsmouth in the league and were knocked out of the Capital One Cup at Charlton Athletic.

O’s, meanwhile, started their league campaign with a 2-0 home success against Barnet but were dumped out of the cup at MK Dons, who struck twice late on to win 2-1.

It is the visitors, though, who have a good recent history in this fixture with their only defeat in the last five meetings coming by way of penalties in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in 2011.

And BetVictor make Orient evens to grab their second consecutive win in the league, with Daggers 31/10 to win and the draw available at 5/2, although you can get a 1-1 draw at 13/2.

Orient are now 2/1 from 9/4 to be promoted after their win against the Bees while Daggers are 7/2 from 9/2 for the drop after their defeat at Pompey.

Elsewhere, West Ham entertain Leicester City with both sides looking to build on good opening wins.

Hammers produced arguably the shock of the weekend, emerging 2-0 victors at Arsenal, while Foxes got Claudio Ranieri’s tenure off to the perfect start with a 4-2 home success over Sunderland.

West Ham are 13/10 favourites for back-to-back league wins with the Leicester and the draw both 12/5.

Frenchman Dimitri Payet is 11/5 to find the back of the Foxes net on his home debut.

BetVictor brand ambassador Michael Owen nominated his top six in the Premier League before a ball wass kicked and we are asking customers as a bit of fun whether they can beat Michael’s season-long prediction of:

1. Chelsea

2. Manchester United

3. Arsenal

4. Manchester City

5. Liverpool

6. Tottenham Hotspur

Everyone who beats Michael will win a £5 free bet to spend on next summer’s European Championships. Michael’s predictions were made before the opening weekend of the new season. Wonder if he’d change them now?

It’s simple to enter but you do need to be 18 years of age and have a BetVictor account.
