The Lambourne End centre for outdoor learning is hosting a family fun day for young people with disabilities and learning difficulties.

Taking place on Friday, February 16, the fun day will include activities such as bush craft, a farm tour, rockets and a sensory trail.

Carolan Casey, who is the organiser of the Short Breaks programme at the centre told the Recorder that in the past the events have been extremely well attended and urged anyone who wanted to take place to contact her and book ahead.

The fun day will take place from 11am - 4.30pm at the centre in Manor Road.

There will also be an open day at the centre where any member of the public can come to try activities, and that will take place on Sunday, April 22, from 11am - 4pm.

To book a place contact Carolan on carolan.casey@lambourne-end.org.uk or 020 8500 3047
