A King George Hospital patient collapsed in the street after travelling to Romford yesterday (Thursday).
The man, reported to be in his 60s, was taken back to the Goodmayes hospital after the incident in South Street around 2pm.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said they sent one ambulance and a single responder after “reports of a man unable to stand”.
Spokesmen for the police and hospital were unable to provide further information about the incident.
