The motorbike rider seriously injured in a crash yesterday has not suffered life-threatening injuries.
A spokesman for the police said the man, who collided with a car on the A118 Winston Way, in Ilford, is thought to have a broken leg and is not in a critical condition.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service were called to the road just after 8am and the man was taken to an east London hospital.
