Bollywood will be lighting up a small part of Ilford on Saturday for Diwali, the festival of lights.
Ilford Exchange, High Road will be holding workshops, giving out free sweets and putting on live performances.
Students from Honey Kalaria’s Bollywood Performing Arts Academy will be one of the acts taking to the stage.
She said: “We’re delighted to be invited to celebrate this important festival with the local community and perform at the Ilford Exchange again. “We hope people will be inspired to try Bollywood for themselves.”
Activities will be taking place from 11am-5pm and include free Diwali card making and henna painting for children. For adults, Indian head and foot massages as well as sari tying workshops will be on offer.
